Kasol: Mini Israel

Kasol is one of the most beautiful tourist places in India. Every year Million of people came here. Now it becomes so popular among students. Kasol is also called as Mini Israel because there are thousands of Israelis came here every year. It is a small beautiful village in district kullu Himachal Pradesh.

It is 30KM from NH bhuntar. You can take either bus or even rentals bike from bhuntar to kasol. It is famous for many reasons, it has low temperature even in summer, and in winter the temperature goes upto -5. It is a delightful place to enjoy your vacations.

Best time to visit Kasol:

You can visit this place anytime that you want but there is some specific time in which you must visit Kasol. In winters 15-December to February, you can enjoy the snowfall here. And in summer you can enjoy the lush green mountains view of snow-capped mountains. But you shouldn’t come in monsoon season because in July-August there are chances of unexpected landslide & flood. So try to go in September and October.

How to reach kasol:

For achieving it, you have to take Volvo bus from Delhi and buy a ticket from Delhi to Kullu. You have to get off from the bus at Bhuntar. Bhuntar is a small town in Kullu from where the roads depart for Kasol. Bhuntar is 9KM before kullu. In bhuntar, you have three options.

1)By taxi: Taxi would cost you around 1200 rupees.

2)By Bus: you can also take the local bus from bhuntar & it would not cost you more than 50 rupees.

3)Bike: You can also rent a bike from bhuntar to manikaran and Barshaini. Starting from Rs 500.
